Videos and photos from supported platforms

Save a copy of your own content or media you have permission to download. Grablyt works in your browser with a post link; no extension or desktop application is required.

Instagram Reels, photos and carousels
Paste an Instagram post or Reel link to collect its available videos and photos. For active Instagram Stories, paste the profile link. Expired Stories and content the service cannot access cannot be downloaded.
TikTok videos and photo posts
Use a supported TikTok post link to preview the available video or photo collection before saving.
X / Twitter videos and photos
Paste a status link to download its attached media. Posts containing several photos are presented as a gallery.
Threads media
Download photos and videos from an accessible Threads post, including mixed galleries. Grablyt collects the linked post, not an entire conversation or every reply.
YouTube Shorts
Download a Short using its YouTube Shorts link. Regular YouTube videos and playlists are not supported by this application.

How to download a social media post

  1. Copy the public post link from the platform's share menu and paste it above.
  2. Complete the verification when shown and select Download. Keep the result page open while the media is processed.
  3. Open a preview to inspect the media, then use its download button to save the file. Supported collections also offer a ZIP download, subject to size limits.

Processing time depends on the platform, file size and number of items. Available quality depends on the source; Grablyt cannot restore detail missing from an uploaded video.

Common questions

Is Grablyt free?

Yes. No Grablyt account is required. Request quotas and limits on simultaneous downloads help keep the service available; the page will explain when you need to wait.

Can I download every photo in a carousel?

Supported multi-photo and mixed-media posts display the available items together. Save individual files or use Download all when the collection fits the archive limits.

Why does a download fail?

The post may be deleted, private, expired, region-restricted or temporarily unavailable. Platforms can also limit automated access. Check that the link opens publicly and try again later if the service is temporarily restricted.

Does it work on mobile?

Use Grablyt in a mobile browser as well as on a computer. Your browser controls where saved files appear, typically in its downloads list or your device's Files app.

Are downloaded files stored?

Media is processed on our servers and cached to speed up repeat requests. Result links are temporary and tied to your browser session. Read our privacy and storage information for details.
